How You’ll Make an Impact
The primary responsibilities of our detailed oriented Lab Assistant includes preparing and labeling reagents for daily use, maintaining an organized and clean work environment, following strict quality control and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to follow protocols accurately, and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
What You’ll Do
- Check inventory and replenish consumable sequencing supplies
- Assist in sample sorting and properly distribute them
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness
- Document and track daily work flow
- Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment
- Prepare supplies and assist Associate Scientists
- Job requires both sitting and standing for 8 hours a day
- Must be able to bend, twist and walk for extended periods of time
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma required
- 1+ years of lab work experience required
- Strong record keep skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
- Closely follow Standard Operating Protocol (SOP)
